What is Digital contract?

Arcoding to the Article 33, Law on Digital Transactions, 2005: “Digital contract is the contract which established in the form of a data message based on this Law”. In which, “Data message is the information which created, sent, received and stored by Digital media” and “Digital media is a means of operation based on electrical, electronic technology, digital, magnetic, wireless transmission, optical or similar technology”.

What are differences between electronic signature and digital signature?

According to the Law on Electronic Transactions No. 51/2005/QH11, an electronic signature is created in the form of words, letters, numbers, symbols, sounds or other forms by electronic means, logically attached to or combined with the data message, capable of confirming the signing person of the data message and confirming that person’s consent to the content of the signed data message.

Legality of digital signatures on documents and electronic documents?

The Decree 130/2018/ND-CP stipulates that in case a document needs a signature (of an individual) or seal of an organization, it can be digitally signed with a digital certificate issued by a CA and licensed in Vietnam for that person or organization. Such digital signature is considered valid when additional conditions are met during the validity of the digital certificate and verifiable by the public key recorded on the digital certificate.

Is it possible to electronically sign (photographically sign) by using CyberSign?

CyberSign allows users to create a photographic signature template by uploading a photo/scan file of the user’s handwritten signature or the red seal of the organization/business to the system..

The case which needs multiple intermediate approvals are required before signing?

CyberSign allows an easy setting document up process through multiple intermediary approval steps (approval by command button, photo signature or digital signature). The intermediate approver can be preconfigured by account, title or by the manager of the previous approver.

How can I increase the number of users and processes?

Packs with the limited number of users or processes, or both, require an upgrade to a higher pack. The customer must pay the difference fee between the current and upgraded pack.

Is CyberHSM online digital signing service mandatory to purchase with CyberSign?

CyberHSM is a value-added service that allows users to digitally sign online on any platform, without having to purchase with CyberSign. Users who do not have CyberHSM still need a USB token to digitally sign, otherwise, they can still use CyberSign to manage digital documents and browse, and digitally sign (photography sign).

Can I delete the old process to add the new one?

If the process has been created but not in use, it can be deleted to add a new process to ensure the number of processes of the registed pack.

What personal information do I have to provide to register an account?

Customers need to provide some information such as: company name, tax code, address, person to contact, phone number, email,… to use the service.

What the purpose of CyberSign on using customer information?

CyberSign committe that we only using your information to manage and grant the right to use the services; communicate, send notices to customers when the service has an update or change; send notices inviting customers to register for product upgrade or service renewal; carry out after-sales care and support activities; settlement of complaints and disputes.

How is my personal information secured?

We are committed not to share our customer information with any 3rd party unless requested by a competent authority of the state.

How can I protect my digital data?

We are responsible for implementing and maintaining all administrative, physical and technical safeguards to ensure the security and integrity of our customers’ electronic document data.
